CRIT: Our model of care
CRIT is one of the few centers in the country with a truly multidisciplinary model: four pillars of care under one roof, tailored to each child and each family.
A plan of care tailored to each child and their family’s needs
Each plan is personalized and approved by an attending physician.
Your child is cared for by a full team:
- Physicians specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation
- Physical, occupational, and speech therapists
- Recreational therapists and assistive technology specialists
- Social workers, counselors, and genetic counselors
- Physicians’ assistants and patient care staff

Our pillars of care
A disability calls for care from several angles, not just traditional medical rehabilitation. All our services are under one roof, making life easier for families.

01
Physical
Medical specialists and physical, occupational, speech, and recreational therapies to build strength, mobility, and independence.

02
Psychological
Professional counseling and assistive technology that support the well-being of the child and their family.

03
Social
Social work, nutrition, nursing, and support groups to help the child’s progress continue at home.

04
Spiritual
Spiritual support whenever a family wants it, with respect for every belief.
Every child receives the care they need, with or without health insurance.
